Exhibition in my perspective!
I was in the pollution group. My group for the I.T part did a Story Jumper and a Website. The Story Jumper was a way of showing how terrible pollution is, in a easier form to comprehend. The story line was two children picking up the villains mess. The children prove that no matter how old you are you can still make a difference. The website was the more 'boring' and professional I.T piece. The website focused on our three topics glass, rubber and plastic. We discussed how to recycle these materials and we talked about some general facts about them as well. Our design of our website had a Wordle in the back round that was black and scary. We had a sunflower over top of that showing how beautiful our world can become.
I learned a lot especially since I was using programs I had never used before. The website was Wix instead of Weebly which was A LOT different. Instead of usually clicking the links to different pages of the website you had to go to another tool bar to do it. I found Wix a lot more complex and complicated for someone like me. I would recommend Wix for businesses and companies. Story Jumper was very simple and it looked like it was designed for smaller ages. The website made it easier by giving you characters instead of actually drawing. I would have liked to be more challenged to actually draw and I find it would have been more fun. Story Jumper was complicated in a way that you had to do a lot of clicking and dragging to make it perfect. Over all I found Wix was a lot more advanced and less fun, but when I grow older maybe I will use it if I ever start a company. I would use Story Jumper again if I ever wanted to create another children book for another project.
